A Coromandel Valley client is free from potential power price increases after giving us a call recently.
Last week we upgraded the family home’s existing rooftop solar system and installed one of our ever-more-popular 6kWh sonnenBatterie Eco 8.2 units.
The beauty of the sonnenBatterie is that its inbuilt inverter is compatible with many existing systems, saving our customers money.
We also added 16 latest-spec solar panels with micro-inverters to the exiting 2kW system. This brought it up to over 6kW. Then we linked it to the sonnenBatterie.
Now this all-electric household has the benefits of still being connected to the grid but generating enough power that its energy bills will be reduced by 80 per cent. And that’s a saving for life.
The next stage could be connecting our Sonnen Protect, a small unit that detects a mains power outage and switches the battery storage over to provide an emergency power supply to selected household appliances.
