Solar Battery Subsidy Eclipse
One business day is left before South Australia’s generous Home Battery Scheme subsidy is slashed and homeowners miss out on significant savings.
Adelaide’s Sharpe Energy Hub is urging anyone planning on adding a battery to their existing solar or installing a new home battery and solar system to contact them as soon as possible.
Only conditionally-approved subsidy applications will secure the present levels. On Wednesday, April 15, the Home Battery subsidy will be slashed 33 percent.
“Contact our office urgently by phone or enquire online and we will do the best we can to help you secure the advantage of the present high subsidy,” a Sharpe Energy Hub spokesperson says. “We offer quality solar-battery packages in Adelaide, backed by government subsidies, various Virtual Power Plant (VPP) plans, and a guaranteed installation time frame.”
At Sharpe Energy Hub, their engineers will analyse each home’s energy usage to design an efficient green home so investing maximises energy bill savings.
With a reserve stock of industry-leading home batteries and solar systems, Sharpe Energy Hub is unaffected by any potential disruption to the solar industry supply chain caused by the COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis.
“Right now the potential of adding the full Government subsidy of $6000, combined with VPP benefits and Sharpe Energy Hub, results in a home battery payback period of around five years, which is quite remarkable,” says the Sharpe spokesperson.
A VPP is created by a network of home solar panels and battery storage systems working together to generate, store and feed energy into the electricity grid.
Record low-interest rates make Government-backed, zero-dollars-upfront finance offered through the Clean Energy Finance Corporation a great option for those who don’t want to touch savings or credit cards.
“Battery and solar, linked to a VPP, is a rock-solid investment in these troubled times,” says the Sharpe spokesperson. “It’s all about taking charge of your energy use and crushing power bills.”
Whether you want to add battery storage to your current system or convert from total grid reliance to the best technology solar-battery systems, Sharpe Energy Hub consultants can talk you through all options, including finance.
